Der Compact of Free Association garantiert Mikronesier:innen visumfreien Zugang zum US-Arbeitsmarkt und Bildungssystem. Passport applications, entry permits for non-Compact visitors, and document authentication. FSM citizens in the continental US access services through this embassy or consulates in Honolulu (+1 808 836 4775), Portland (+1 503 483 7149), and Guam (+1 671 646 9154).
Zuständigkeitsbereich
Handles diplomatic relations with the United States, Canada, and European countries without FSM missions. The embassy in Washington represents FSM interests to Germany, UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, and other nations.
